Archaeological museum of Rhodes (Old Town)

Located in the Medieval city of Rhodes and housed in the monumental edifice that was the hospital of the Knights of Saint John. Opened from 08:00 to 20:00. In a few meters away the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights worth the visit as you can enter the Castle.

7 Springs (Kolymbia)

It’s a magical and natural landscape, a real oasis which has 7 sparkling springs and a few rivers that never run out of the water and all of them form a lake.Walking through the 150 meters long dark tunnel with your feet inside the running fresh water you can reach the lake and the mini waterfalls.

Kallithea
Springs

Just 9km outside Rhodes town thermal springs of Kallithea,a seaside monument, were known from the ancient times for the therapeutic powers and it’s unique architecture and old marble buildings.

The visitor can enjoy swimming in the crystal waters of the bay while sitting to the cafeteria next to the sea.

The Valley of Butterflies

Α real breathtaking natural beauty forest, serene atmosphere, paved paths,small waterfalls and thousands of butterflies around offering a spectacular rare phenomenon. Opened everyday from 08:00 to 19:00 and a ticket price of 5€.
Nearby you can find Farma of Rhodes, a petting zoo, with many pieces of animals.

Lindos
Traditional Village

Located 45km away from the town,Lindos is known for it’s clifftop Acropolis offering spectacular views to the ocean and the village. Among the whitewashed traditional buildings you can find shops and restaurants plus the biggest Ice bar in Europe with an ambient temperature of minus 6 degrees.

While going to Lindos make sure to stop at the old Monastery of Tsambika which is built at the top of a hill with breathtaking views to the ocean while you have to walk up the hill following 350 steps.

Prasonisi Peninsula

Situated in the other side of the island, around 92km from the town, Prasonisi is one of the most impressive beaches on the island. Two sandy coves ending in an island that you can reach on foot or by swimming depending on the weather and the water level. Waves to the right side and recommended for surfers, calm sea to the left for the swimmers.

Aquarium of Rhodes
(Rhodes Town)

Fashioned in the form of an underwater sea cave,the Aquarium is the ideal place for those wishing to get acquainted with the marine wealth of the Aegean and the Easter Mediterranean sea. Entrance ticket costs 5.5€.

Cruises

Νisyros Island

A beautiful little island, around 3 hours away by ferry, popular for it’s famous active Volcano and the traditional villages such as Nikia village offering spectacular views.

Symi Island

Just 1 hour away by ferry, this small island,part of the DoDecanese islands, is known for it’s colorful and elegant neoclassical houses,the beaches and it’s divine food (make sure to try the Symi’s small shrimp plate).

Tilos Island

A small island,2 hours away by ferry, popular for it’s unspoiled nature, the gorgeous beaches and the beautiful small villages.

Kastellorizo Island

The official name is “Megisti” which means “Greatest” or “Biggest” and it’s one of the smallest islands in Dodecanese chain. Around 2:30 hours away, by ferry, you can find colorful picturesque houses, great beaches and the number one attraction of the island named “Blue Cave” which is a geological phenomenon.
